On Saturday, September 7, 2024, the grand opening of the unattended municipal store KONZUM in Žampach took place. This is the 8th autonomous shop of the KONZUM Ústí nad Orlicí business cooperative. KONZUM continues the popular model of “municipal franchise” with this store, where both the municipality and the wholesale partner participate in the project.

This time KNOWINSTORE has managed to cope playfully with a 35 m² space, where all the technologies for unattendedness have been implemented while maintaining a full range of goods.

Thanks to the autonomous concept, the municipality will achieve a low-cost operation that will allow it to provide customers with a very attractive price offer at the level of COOP DISKONT stores, which would otherwise not be possible in a rural store.

Citizens received in advance all the information needed to make a purchase. Entry to the shop works as standard on the basis of an application or a smart card issued by the municipal authority.

On the occasion of the opening of the automated shop, KONZUM prepared a welcome bonus for customers in the form of a 20% discount on the entire purchase.
